Tuesday:
Today we will be discussing fracking. This will be an in class discussion for the day. The link is below.
Thursday:
Good day to all. I would like to first start out with another game. Go to the link below to study some alternative energy key terms. Quizlet Alternative Key Terms
Please study the terms for five minutes, play the scatter game and space race games to practice the terms. Then at 12:50 I want you to click on the 'Learn' function, do the activity and share your score with me when you are done. Be sure to show your score for a grade.
Next, let's have a little discussion about the video you watched and go over some of your shared responses. What do you think about the idea of carbon sequestering or producing ethanol from the leaves and stalks of plant? Where will this take us in the future?
Those previous questions lead us right into our lab. We will run the simulator together as a class and you will in pairs make predictions about energy resources and global CO2 levels over time. Please find a partner, move to the front of the room so you can see the projector better and be ready to take down, predict and share data.
